“BEST. NIGHT. OF. MY. LIFE.”
That’s how Modesto teen Isaac Einhell described his experience on Instagram at Tuesday night’s sold out Carrie Underwood show at Golden 1 Center.
And we don’t blame him! The Northern California native got to experience the thrill of a lifetime when he won a contest to perform LIVE on stage with Carrie to rap Ludacris’ verse in her popular Super Bowl anthem, “The Champion.”
The contest began a few weeks ago when the singer posted a video on social media seeking brave fans in each city of her Cry Pretty Tour 360 to join her on stage and show off their rap skills. To enter, fans sent videos of themselves doing the full rap from “The Champion” and described a champion in their life and why they’d like to honor them.
Einhell did just that and was selected to be Sacramento’s winner. Citing his mother and stepmother as his inspirations, he absolutely nailed the rap when it was time for his shining moment. The crowd went wild for his perfect rendition of the rap and contagious enthusiasm.

Following the performance, Carrie gave the fan a hug and took a selfie with him in front of the sold-out crowd. Later in the night, Einhell posted a carousel of photos from the once-in-a-lifetime performance on his Instagram.
He gushed: “I can’t even describe this experience…I did it! All my dreams and desires have come true. #CarrieUnderwood, you’re my Champion.”
