Sacramento, Calif. – Today, Golden 1 Center leadership announced a five-year partnership with Feld Entertainment, the world’s largest producer of live family entertainment, to bring their remarkable productions to audiences at Golden 1 Center—the world-class entertainment and sports venue opening in downtown Sacramento this October.
The partnership ensures Golden 1 Center will be the home to Feld Entertainment’s long-standing tradition of staging spectacular family shows in Sacramento. The Feld Entertainment portfolio includes Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus, Disney On Ice, Disney Live!, Marvel Universe LIVE!, Monster Jam®, Monster Energy Supercross, AMSOIL Arenacross, and more.
The first show to arrive into the new venue will be Disney On Ice presents Passport to Adventure playing November 2 – 6, 2016; tickets will go on-sale to the public on August 16.

Feld Entertainment’s productions, which attract more than 30 million people worldwide each year, will be part of the more than 200 events annually at the Golden 1 Center.
In 1988, Feld Entertainment brought Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey to Sacramento to open Arco Arena II in a spectacular fashion. This September 15-18, Feld Entertainment will mark the end of an era at Sleep Train Arena with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents Out Of This World, as one of the last ticketed shows at the beloved venue.
Over the past 28 years, 690 Feld Entertainment shows have been attended by over 4.1 million guests in Sacramento, averaging over 30 performances per year since 2010. Ultimately, Feld Entertainment will contribute to Golden 1 Center serving Sacramento and Northern California with over 200 days of fun-filled family entertainment over the next five years.# # #
