  • Patrons will have 3 attempts to pass through security without setting off alarms on magnetometer.
  • A guest that is not able to clear magnetometer screening will not be allowed to enter until cleared of prohibitive items.
  • Any items confiscated by security will not be returned.
  • All items are subject to search including bill folds within wallets.
  • All bags larger than 8”x6”x1” are not allowed into the building.  Medical, ADA, and parental bags will be allowed with additional screening.
  • Items that can be kept on your person will not qualify for medical necessity.
  • No metal containers will be allowed into the arena.
  • NBA arenas are required to screen all incoming fans, staff and players attending NBA games utilizing walk-through magnetometer detector (WTMD) as a primary screening method.
  • Persons who require secondary screening must be directed to walk back through the WTMD or directed to a secondary WTMD line. Each venue must have a dedicated screening lane to address those fans with medical needs or conditions, such that the use of a hand-held magnetometer may be necessary.
  • Patrons entering the arena must remove hats during the secondary screening process if an alarm is detected in that area.
  • All guests must go through walk-through magnetometer detector (WTMD) screening.
  • Designated ADA entry can be identified by a blue canopy tent.
  • All items must go through X-Ray Machine.
  • Only 1 person allowed to escort through ADA screening.
  • All accompanying patrons must still go through the WTMD.
  • Contact Security Management for special requests.

NBA Fan Code of Conduct

The National Basketball Association seeks to foster a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience in which:

  • Players and fans respect and appreciate each other.
  • Guests will be treated in a professional and courteous manner by all arena and team personnel.
  • Guests will enjoy the basketball experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language and obscene gestures.
  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
  • Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court will be immediately ejected from the arena.
  • Guests will smoke in designated smoking areas only.
  • Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted.
  • Guests will comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.
  • The arena staff have been trained to intervene when necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest usher, security guard, or guest services staff member. Guests who choose not to adhere to this Code of Conduct will be subject to penalty including, but not limited to, ejection without refund, revocation of their season tickets, and/or prevention from attending future games. They may also be in violation of local ordinances resulting in possible arrest and prosecution.
  • Verbal Abuse & Disruptive Behavior: Fans who engage in verbal and/or physical abuse of a player, coach, referee, other game participant, another fan, or arena staff that is obscene (including hand gestures), profane, racial or otherwise objectionable.
  • Guest are encouraged to contact security when a violation of this venue rule is witnessed.

Bags larger than 8” x 6” x 1” will not be allowed into the arena. Small items under the permitted dimensions are subject to security inspection. Medical and parental bags will be permitted but must go through X-ray security screening.

  • Items left in the arena proceeding an event will be collected once the arena has been emptied of patrons.
  • Items found in the arena during an event will be turned into Guest Services desk at Section 109 by the Label K Kings Team Store.
  • Guest can inquire about lost and found items by contacting the Arena Security Department at 916-701-5325.
  • Allow 1 day to inquire about lost and found items.
  • In the event of an emergency during an event, guests will be notified by arena messaging, arena staff and P.A. system.
  • Guests are to leave via the direction given by arena personnel.
  • Guests will leave their seating area via the way they came into the arena and out to the nearest exit.
